The Macedonians like the Spartans, Athenians, Corinthians etc, spoke Greek, worshipped Greek Gods, participated in the ancient Olympics, the Macedonians had Greek writing on their coins and Greek inscriptions on their buildings, they held Greek traditions and beliefs.

Alexander spread the Hellenic way throughout the known world.
