The best way to describe an Erhu is a miniture cello that sits in your lap, with two strings (tuned to D and A) and a bow with the bowstring stuck in-between said strings. Even though the instrument has only 2 strings, there's much you can do with it.

I think more Oriental Artists should do this, mix the ancient instuments with the modern, not too modern, but just to rush the music more like this one a bit :) it goes so well
