Instrument: Erhu (Chinese Violin)

The best way to describe an Erhu is a miniture cello that sits in your lap, with two strings (tuned to D and A) and a bow with the bowstring stuck in-between said strings. Even though the instrument has only 2 strings, there's much you can do with it.

  • I want to fall in love when I hear this song, no wonder the song's album was under the title 'love' I guess?

  • @ServantOfAllah0264 that character doesn't say love

  • I think more Oriental Artists should do this, mix the ancient instuments with the modern, not too modern, but just to rush the music more like this one a bit :) it goes so well

  • @ServantOfAllah0264 I think it sounds best when they mix ancient instruments with a standard western orchestra.

  • Chinese Traditional masterpiece "空山鸟语"(Trad. Chinese:空山鳥語)。

  • @KeepOpera Did not know. I'll add it to the tags. I'm trying to learn this song myself at the moment, and it is pretty hard to tackle.
