I have been to a CAKE concert (where they gave away an apple tree). It symbolizes one's dedication and nurturing to something else. Whatever, I found meaning in it.

@waverly1van Special symbolism? Concerts are for music. Not gardening. There's a time and a place, pal. A concert for paying fans is not the time to literally spend more than 30 minutes of valuable Cake Concert Time on non-musical, arbor related activities. I wish I could stress just how much time they spent on the tree/apple discussion. It was egregious at best and insulting at worst.

NO! Just no. CAKE is all original. The giving of the tree is a special symbolism, which you should be able to appreciate, and if nothing else, recognize. Not cool man, not cool.

I enjoyed them on Guitar Center Sessions.

It was terrible seeing them live... they went on for nearly a half an hour (swear to God, no joke) about their favorite kind of trees & apples. Seriously. No music. Just them on stage blabbing about their favorite trees. Then to make it worse, they called someone on stage from the audience, gave them a free tree, & then engaged in a mind numbing discussion of the random audience members favorite trees. I've never seen people leave a concert early. It's tough cause Cake makes AMAZING music.

Cake is rather tasty... to be honest....

@missjyoungxoxo It's a popular phrase from Portal that's commonly used out of context for comedic effect. Hope that explains it for you.
