Despite the fact that it has been done with Bluetooth, transmitting high-quality stereo audio over thin air is a bit of a black art. There's no tolerance for drops in quality or the audio itself and battery life always takes a hit with every little improvement. But, a fabless chip company known as Kleer now claims to have the no compromise solution and, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, showed TechWebTV's David Berlind how its technology is already showing up in products from some big brands in the audio world.
Look if NIKE can get their wireless chip put into the new iPod Touch then Kleer can do the same. BUT, I'm not going to buy a pair of the Sennheiser ones (too painful looking).. I need some over-the-ear noise cancellation cans from BOSE, like the comfort range svp.
