Marty, I am making my way through all your very helpful videos but I am confused about the use of "reset to none". I'm not sure if you've answered elsewhere but can you explain why/when this is used. Thx.

No problem, reset to none just means that you have the effect added, but so that it doesn't actually affect your video (confusing I know.) It basically means you can mess with the settings from default not using a preset.

@Glitchezz You have to split the clip where you want to stop the effect, and then split the clip where you want it to stop, and then place the effect in. Hope it helped

I know how to add the effect but the problem is the effect last through the entire recording... How do you get the effect to start and stop at a certain point ?
