Good to see those poor chickens will have a better life which they deserve. I used to live in the city where I was ignorant about chickens and the disguisting conditions for both egg layers and broiler chickens. I moved to the country and raise my own and others unwanted chickens. They are beautiful friendly and suprisingly intelligent creatures. I am dissapointed that to cut costs these poor animals suffer.
