Ah ha, here we go again, Metal (and rock) That Sounds Like Other Metal (and rock): Volume IV! Jam-packed full of musical similarities owing to a system of modern music theory limited to a handful of notes and keys! Check out the awesome coincidental action of bands that probably never even heard of each other! More metal, more and rock, more like! And what MTSLOM would be complete without pictures of Iron Maiden and Dave Mustaine? Enjoy!

EDIT: Sorry about the graphics kludge in the credits, don't know how that happened, and YouTube doesn't seem to want to let me replace the video with a fixed one. Oh well!

  • @2010METALFAN Exactly, when Dave was in the band the song was called When Hell Freezes Over

  • dave mustaine wrote call of ktulu, not the metallica bitches

  • megadeth pays tribute to metallica in this song, fuckin' idiot, mustaine say in an interview.

  • Dave took those riffs because (legally) HE OWNED THEM! Look at the inside of Kill 'em All & Ride the Lightning! He wrote a majority of Kill, and wrote Call of Ktulu! Also, if you knew any bit of music theory, like me, you would know that Hanger 18 is even more similar to Call of Ktulu! The main riff to Hanger 18 and Call of Ktulu are BOTH (Dm, Dmb6, Dm6, C). Of course When is still similar, but i always connected Hanger 18 to Call. Learn the basic numbering system before you talk music! I'm 13

  • Geez, how much has AC/DC been ripped off knowingly or unknowingly? Especially from their Aussie years. Goes to show, nothing like Australia for epic riffs.

  • learn three chords you've got a million songs in your back pocket

  • When you put in ''The Call of Ktulu'' I thought you were going to do Destruction's ''The Antichrist'' for a second.

  • The song The Call of Ktulu is similar to When because the writer of both songs is the same person, Dave Mustaine by the way

  • @CapnPuff69 one of the best ive ever heard
