C.O.P.S.: Mace's Romance Part 2

When Big Boss orders Nightshade to loot Empire City's charity ball donation vault for a lousy 10% cut, she refuses. Big Boss then gets Buttons McBoomboom to kidnap her sister, Kathleen, in order to force her to do it. They also make it appear as if Nightshade did it. Mace investigates & teams up with her to solve the case. A romance develops between the two of them in the process.


I recorded this when it used to be played on a presentation program called Cheez TV, that was on Channel 10 in Australia, if you're wondering what this "Cheez TV!" thing is about when it went to a commercial break.

This was one of the best episodes. COPS was a great cartoon in that it had an element of romance and strong female characters.

Agreed. When this show came out in the early 90's, it was rare to see such strong female characters in an action cartoon. Also, the Chief of Police was black! Never seen that before or really since. May have played a role in the show's demise... Favorite episode.
