The "South Melbourne Commons" is located in the city of Melbourne, Australia. The EcoMaket incorporates a cafe, food co-op, office space, kids play and education centre, community hall, various shops, and soon to be finalised plant nursery and health centre.

All aspects of the Ecomarket have been developed with sustainability at its core, with the large majority of the infrastructure and equipment being salvaged from waste, or purchased with the highest environmental efficiency standards. The site captures its own water and electricity, and will soon produce energy for the neighbouring community housing project.
