1St Quarter IMS: Tactics
Objectives:
This objective involves viewing 1 electronic fire simulation, and working through the processes that you would normally find at an emergency scene. This includes, but is not limited to, size up, risk benefit analysis, determining your strategy, command, directing units, etc. Use your scene boards and practice tracking units as well. Get your command board and radio request ops channel, and use your best radio voice. Also print and utilize the tactical benchmarks sheet located at: P:\Operations\Training\Annual Training\RTO Reference\Tactical benchmark checklist.doc. This is a crew based exercise.

Work through the simulation as directed.

4.Discuss the following as a crew:
•Pressurize vs. PPV.
•Forcible Entry.
•Vent Plan.
•Working fire?
•Did you lay in?
•2nd alarm?
•What does the smoke indicate?
•RECEO VS
