They are great mechs but rail gun is way too slow to reload and overheats big time.... and with Marauder II it leaves little room for anything else. meanwhile you're exposed to enemy fire. I load up Marauder II with a clan gauss, 2 ER PPCs, and a crapload of light machine guns - a constant barrage of fire that actually does tons of damage without jacking up the heat level. And Marauder II tends to overheat a LOT. Also I prefer regular Behemoth as it has 2 gauss with jump jets.

I am playing though this game on the hardest setting. Suck on this level. I sent my 3 lance mates in to fight a group of mechs and the enemy still runs though an entire city to find and kill me; ignoring my lance. The focus fire along with the horrid pathing of your lance mates makes this mission a big fat zzz-fest. q.q

Actually, my version is 3.1, I guess that's why I can buy Behemoth II and Marauder II at the free market. By the way, these big boys are really good mechs. For they are capable of mounting the Rail Gun.

MY version is 3.02b. If I had 3.1 I'd definitely buy new mechs, but at the moment when I was recording this, 3.1 wasn't released (I think). Also, there are no unseens in 3.1, that's why I didn't want to install it.

Have you ever pilot a Behemoth II? I think it will surely suits everything for a commander 'mech.

A couple of times in multiplayer. I never tried getting mektek mechs in campaign, since it's 3.02b, and you can't do that in this version without abusing some glitch I think.

I have it mapped to 'Tab' key. Just look for it in your keyboard settings.
