after blowing the tranny.it was time to start from scratch t4 turbo custom top mount turbo manifold for the built 4g63 3 inch intercooler and honda ecu distributor moded inside and out to work and throttle body along with a custom stand alone wiring harness .the car is still a working progress but should be done withn a month all work was done by fine line performance

Why would you go through all the trouble to put a honda ecu into a DSM? Do you not know that people are running single digit 1/4 mile times with ECMLink and a stock ECU with a $25 socket job? Seems to me it would have been cheaper to learn how to tune with an already available DSM solution rather than swapping everything over to honda..? That distributor is a nice downgrade to the ingnition lol.

very cool. ignore the kids who don't understand enough about engine management to see the benefits of going this route. the honda ignition stuff is just as stout as the DSM stuff- no downgrade there, though it's not that hard to run coil on plug with the honda ECU anymore either. i've been running my MR2 on a P72 for about 4 years now. if i still had a DSM, i'd probably be running that on one too. honda electronics>mitsu electronics.

pretty awesome setup you have here but why run the disty when the stock waste spark system or even a coil on plug swap would work better for you
