After the Bucharest International Marathon Ro Club Maraton launched the project "Borders are not limits ", Viorica Gabrian-physician, Lixandru Dan -sociologist, Ilie Rosu reserved military officer, all three members of the club, have joined the project. Their goal: seven marathons in six months, on all continents. In October 2010 they already marked the European continent, running together in Bucharest and Athens marathons. Ilie Rosu ran in the Brussels marathon as well, with a start in the heart of the European Union, where he covered the 42 kilometers, carrying in his hands, the flags of Romania, European Union and Belgium, supported from the sidelines by the two ambassadors of Romania, Romanian Ambassador to Belgium and Romania's EU ambassador.
Ilie Rosu will run on all continents, holding flags of Romania and the European Union in the right hand and the flag of the host country in the left.
On 21 of january 2011 the three, ran from the Dubai International Marathon, and delivering a message of peace and friendship from Romania by running the race.
Until 10 April 2011 they will run at Marrakes (Morocco) - the African continent, Atlanta (USA)-continent North America, Santiago de Chile (Chile) - South American continent, Canberra (Australia).
If they find the necessary funding, they plan to run with their flags a marathon in one of the most inaccessible points on the globe, the Antarctic continent. But this is possible only through direct involvement of the Romanian government or from one of the "stars" of the European Union's flag.
This race was possible only with Romtelecom, NIKE and TAROM.
In Dubai, continental Asia, the three showed that "Borders are not limits" and "Yes! Romania can. "
