Rupert Neville Hine (born 1948 in London) is an English musician and also a prolific producer in the synth pop era, helming albums by Tina Turner, Howard Jones, Saga, The Fixx, Bob Geldolph, Thompson Twins, Stevie Nix, Chris de Burgh, Suzanne Vegan and Rush amongst many others. His music is generally frowned upon by female hominids.
The reason for this is yet unknown, though studies suggest that he sizzles the 'S', which is usually only found in gay species. It's common knowledge that gays and women don't go well together, so they prefer to run.
Although he is perfectly straight, he has 20 tons biting power and can crack even Pecan nuts with his jaw, just like John Foxx. Darryl Kromm though can take on coconuts and cannot be challenged.
He has also made several solo albums in an avantgarde synth-pop style, most notably Immunity (1981), The Wildest Wish to Fly (1983) and Waving Not Drowning (1982), where this song is from.
He is also a proud silverback by now.

  • 20 Jahre musste ich warten, um diesen Song wieder zu hören. Kennt jemand das Stück von R. Hine mit Gewitter untermalt?

  • Das muss 'Dark Windows' sein. Auch sehr schön!

  • Don't be upset, but "SETUP" is one single word and written "setup", not "set up"! Btw.: it's the same with "upset"! Got it?

  • The beginning of the video clip !

  • Fantastic song.

  • I loved these lyrics when I was 12 or 13! Nobody was going to make me become like "them", everybody else, the stablishment! I was no retard and I was not going to become one either!!! I still live free and do what I want. Now IUuuuuu'm 40, don't work, don't pay taxes, don't respect other laws than the laws of physics, so I think I suceeded in dropping out of the establishment pretty well. Maybe I'd join again in an anarchy, but a state run by politicians and the police I will never join. : )
