Even though I do have a bit of sociopath in me, I ALSO find it reprehensible to say that if women wear provocative clothing, they bring the prospect of being raped upon themselves.

I heard that argument before, and it infuriates me for two reasons:

1) It is nobody's right to rape in the first place, and...

2) If we had to compromise our lifestyles every time a bad person does something bad, good loses freedom and evil loses accountability. Why should WE have to compromise?

The thing with the Bible, is that it was written by too many people to be interpreted at all. There's no context, so of course it should be taken at face value.
