I caught this funnel cloud on video just northeast of Madison, Wisconsin, on 5 June 2010, at about 2:20pm CDT. The video was taken north of I-94 along County Road N between Cottage Grove and Sun Prairie, WI, and looking north.
There was an earlier funnel cloud that caught my eye as I was driving east on Interstate 94 and prompted me find an exit so that I could pull off the road and take pictures. By the time I did that the first funnel, which had been quite well defined, had roped out and dissipated, but then I noticed the clouds rotating just to its east, where I captured this funnel forming on video. This funnel cloud dissipated about a minute after I stopped filming to move a bit further up the road past the grove of trees. These were the first funnel clouds I ever saw!
The system that spawned the funnel clouds was a rather disorganized, weak line of convection, and friends looking at radial velocity imagery on radar said they couldn't see any rotation at the time, so it was a definite surprise to see two funnel clouds. The NWS never issued a tornado warning either, to my knowledge.

I live near Sun Prairie, and I remember hearing this, we didn't even have any watches or warnings, it just happened unexpectedly.

This is great video of the funnel cloud. I was getting married in Sun Prairie while this was forming. I'm wondering if you could email the pictures that you took. I have tried to find picture on weather channels but haven't had any luck. Thank you very much adamon@charter.net
