東京スカパラダイスオーケストラ21年目最初のリリースは、インストゥルメンタルバンドとしてスカパラのアダルトな空気感、音楽性を前面に出す作品にすべく楽曲制作が進め­られた。そして彼らの敬愛するプレイヤーである２人に共演をオファー。
「水琴窟-SUIKINKUTSU-」では美しく、アグレッシブであるという対極を難なくこなし、スカパラを煽りまくったジャズピアニストの上原ひろみ。「Boogie Stop Shuffle」では怒濤のソロとスカパラメンバーとの掛け合いを聴かせる、音楽家/文筆家/音楽講師の菊地成孔がアルトサックスで共演。そしてスカパラとしては1997­年武道館ライブ時のオープニングを飾った楽曲の初音源化である「THE PEAK」やフランク・ザッパのカバー曲、「THEME FROM LUMPY GRAVY」を収録。どちらも今後のライブにおいて盛り上がりを感じずにはいられない楽曲となっている。また今作では近年のスカパラには珍しく２曲のリミックス音源を収録­！中田ヤスタカ（capsule）と須永辰緒の２名によるリミックスも注目である。ンディーズ、メジャー、洋楽、邦楽などジャンルの垣根が無くなった今の音楽シーンに一石­を投じる2010年最高に豪華なアルバムが完成!!。

@Rodriq See i am a musician too and i spending some time on japan, my point is that here is really difficult to find people that put theirs souls on it , they have great technique, but not that much of feeling, you don see japanese poeple that can put "soul" on the music. I admire japanese people on many things but i just things that feeling is very very rare on their musicians. On this videos are some execeptions. by the way sorry for my english, not a native speaker.

It's true that people from different countries have their uniqueness, and i know that being on a music college with people from over 60 countries.

I just thought you meant japanese people isn't good at making music.

@AlexMercersRevenge It's Hiromi Uehara. She's a super talented Jazz pianist. This song doesn't really show of her skills. Check out her solo stuff, or the stuff she does with Chick Corea. Really good!
