http://www.planetuvme.com F*ck global warming. Win some money instead!!

Err.. ok.. really..

Life depends on the warmth of the sun being trapped by a layer of gases that surround the earth.

We now produce so much of these heat-trapping gases, that the layer is getting thicker, heating the world, changing our climate and threatening our way of life.

As the world gets hotter, the climate will change and some of the extreme effects we have witnessed will become more frequent, making our planet a more hostile place to live.

If we could see the gases, the causes of the problem would be obvious to everyone.

And if you could see the effect we are having on our planet you'd do something about it.

The solutions exist and it's not too late to make a difference. But we have to act. Now. Today!

Government, Industry and individuals acting together to tackle the problem. For more information and to get involved visit http://www.climatechallenge.gov.uk

Tomorrow's climate is today's challenge.

  • Nothing will happen. It's not mankind, it's nature. Nature is responsible (e.g. insects!!) 96% of total CO2 output. Man is responsible for 4% and cars 25% of the 4%. Cars are thus responsible for 1% of CO2 output. No scientific proof has been published for the relation between output of CO2 and the rising of the temperature/climatechange in relation to CO2 output.

Go ahead, buy yourself a goofy car like the Toyota Prius and feel good about yourself. That's what it's all about... :)

  • Nothing will happen? Hmmm. Where do you live? ;o)

  • global warming dose not exist i guess it was are faul millions of years ago when there were no ice caps and the earth was covered by a shallow sea. its not us it is just cycles of the earth and sun that affect our climate.

  • "Although it's the most important film of the year, it will still be a hard sell to hard-headed truth-deniers." Review of the film, An Inconvenient Truth. Watch it, you'll be surprised. ;o)

  • listen to your government!!

    industry is the enemy!!

carbon taxes can save the planet!!

don't question the facts! the debate is over!

  • As if !

  • There is no doubt we can solve this problem. In fact, we have a moral obligation to do so. Small changes to your daily routine can add up to big differences in helping to stop global warming. The time to come together to solve this problem is now -- TAKE ACTION

  • Well what are you going to do, worry about it day and night, if the suns radiant energy increases 150% in the last hundred years the planet might warm up a little bit. You can't control the sun, and denying developing countries cheap energy for the sake of "the planet" is fucking cruel.

  • Ya those graphs Al gore uses are perfect for manipulating the people, scientists think the maximum amount the sea level will rise is 3 inches in the next 100 yrs, however that wasn't scary enough so Gore said something more like 3 feet. CO2 green house effect= 5% water vapour+cloud cover=90+% do some research don't just watch movies from people who want to take your money.

  • The suns radient energy has increased 150% over the last hundred years, but the sun doesn't affect our climate, our cars do...duh

  • Its all the Americans faults!

    America has millions of 4x4's,SUVS,Trucks!

What is the point? Americans are so big-headed!Its just a fashion statement for them!

They should have smaller more efficent cars!

But George bush wont bother in his eyes Americans have nothing to do with global warming and that it's everybody else's fault!

If we want to stop global warming Americans need to lose their stupid pride and do something about it!

  • Haha and you live in the Netherlands michaelbieler??? I would have thought if there were ANYONE out there who should worry about global warming it would be those living in a country with so much of its land mass below sea level. Man the stupidity of some people...

  • Clouds determine climate change. Green house gases come second. Why as the greatest greenhouse gas is water vapour. If you want to reduce man made green house gases then start with methane from cattle production. Cattle produce more then cars.

    Why not become a vegan.

    Get off the Bandwagon.

  • Is global warming real? Honestly, it does'nt matter. If it is real, not enough people will care, so nothing will change. If it isn't, then theres no problem. Lament the future, then realize mankinds limits and shut up. Were all gonna die anyway.
