My home made cnc lathe machining a 19mm ball (1st Operation). This was my first attempt using my homemade coolant system on my gang tool setup. The parting blade is simply a section cut out of a old circular saw blade and mounted upside down in a parting blade holder that I designed and made. Works great!!! Thanks to Peter on the HSM forum for this great idea. I've a bit of work to do on preventing coolant from being flung out and dripping off the ends of the frame of the lathe.

  • Thanks. I got inpiration from the internet to undertake this project. I viewed many home made cnc lathe sites including yours before I made the final decision to go ahead.
