So, after I got a really fast time last week (see 55:25 vid) I thought I'd see if a 54 was possible. I realised it was and I went and got it.
Here's a vid of some laps. Ultimately I have a best time so far of 54:98 but that one wasn't recorded. You can see in the 55:00 lap where it can be improved though.

@Superracer2100 You see I only actually make 7 turns, the rest is flat out top speed with boost. So the place to make up those 2 seconds is in that 4 turn complex starting in the pillars.
There are a variety of lines but keep trying to turn in a little earlier each lap until you crash to find the limits.

On the xbox/360 - yes. It's sad because there are people that still want to play but they al try at different times and all find nobody around.
Pop on xbox forum of Burnout 3 and see other ppl looking.
The way the online works you have to wait in the US Central lobby because players are only viewable between races. If 4 people are on a 10 minute race it will look like nobody is online until the race is over, then their names will show up in the player list and you can join their room.
