Pictures of injured soldiers aren't good because of it's propaganda value to the taliban.

Nice video.... Still remember my ride in one. Only difference was mine was a UH-1D and it was more of a scoop and run, and t was a long time ago. Never the less I owe my life to some WO1 and his crew. You guys were great

DUSTOFF!

NOT WITHOUT YOUR WOUNDED

I agree with you that all pictures should be seen. The motivation behind this would be that on a longer term war and armed conflicts become unacceptable for the majority of the people in countries participating in war. Much of the facts, not just about wounded coalition soliders, also the others would be a strong argument for many against war - and with this motivation to find positive ways to export the ideas you believe in.

beautiful work. the video, the photos, and the narrative are all breathtaking. The dust-offs are essential (if only every soldier in Afghanistan was doing this!), but without your work we wouldn't get to see such a human side of this terrible war. kudos and more kudos! Shame about the wankers posting immature comments below, though...

you got the first part right, the rest is just bullshit.
An excellent video, except for the preachy bit at the end. I understand and agree that uncensored footage should be taken of warfare. But I also believe that the soldiers have a right to not have a camera shoved in their faces when they are wounded. This is the same type of respect given to victims of auto accidents. Remember the outrage when pictures of a dying Princess Diana were published, well soldiers deserve the same considerations. Overall a good piece of journalism though.
