Learn how to tell when brakes are worn and need to be replaced. We'll also look at the excellent after-market products that can replace your original equipment pads and rotors, including Ate PremiumOne. It's a high-quality brand that provides a braking system as good as, or even better than the one that came with your car, and it's available exclusively at Canadian Tire.

  • @Bulgdoom On a crappy car, I'd agree. But on a car with sufficiently sized brakes (i.e. oversized) braking performance is just as good. A BMW will have much more overengineered brakes than a Kia and the reduced friction coefficient is nothing. But in any case on probably most cars, the reduced performance is small.

  • good god!!!!

  • Saw woman, nice shirt, watched the vid

  • saw woman, stopped video, moved on.

  • If I wanted commercials I would watch TV.

  • @Bulgdoom Ceramic pads have less stopping power when cold. Say you were driving agressively, or riding the brakes down a mountain, semi-metallics will wear much, much quicker and have much more brake fade than ceramic pads, resulting in less stopping power in the long run.

  • Ceramic pads have less stopping power than semi-metallic. Dust is better than coming long.

  • Was this supposed to help me or sell me Ate brakes? Wasted my time.
