  • i finally found your channel again!!! yay! when i first started getting length, this is one of the most helpful videos i saw for my hair texture. i stopped using the bands a while back and just two strand twist the base but i get the same results. (btw you're very pretty :)

  • @sewdope

It's funny you said that, I've been waiting for someone with this texture and length so I can get some new ideas as well. I keep searching for 4c and all i get is me and the same 3 girls. lol

  • Thank you so much for this video. I have the same texture as yours and I will try this asap. I think this will really help my hair rather than constantly trying to pick it out! Thank you for honesty! You never see 4c hair on you tube so this is greatly appreciated. Yes, our hair comes in different textures and many of us have this texture, but hide it.

  • Awsome! Thank you for sharing this with us 4C's

  • Thank you so much for this video! I've been natural now for 7months and i absolutely love it, but I only grew my hair out once and it was too much to handle..like I couldn't even pick it. So I've just been keeping it cut short enough for me to manage it. But now I've decided to let it grow out again and I'm deffinately going to try this. This mini afro thing is getting kind of old

  • I just found a product to enhance my natural curl pattern and it is just as tight as yours! I have to say I am so happy you put up this video I was bummed after the process to see how much my hair shrunk I am looking forwardto trying this tomorrow!

  • @summerorchid1 i needed this vid my hair is 4c and i have super small curls that get tangled so much! my shrinkage is like no other! its so frustrating.. when i see other vids on here they always have 4a hair which doesnt shrink as much. nevertheless i wont perm my hair.. il probably get twists in as protective style. our hair really takes patience..

  • YOUR VOLUME IS SO LOW, CAN'T HEAR WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!!!1

  • Love it!!!

  • YEAAH GURL I LOVE THIS BIG NAPPY!!!!!!!!

  • nice method...BUT hair ties/scrunchies (whatever u call them) are actually not goo d for your hair!. they cause tension and encourage breakage

  • @hdottin,

I'm actually thinking of getting sister locs this time around. My curl pattern loves to loc and tangle. I cut my hair at least once a year, now, just to keep the tangles manageable. If I had a full head of 4b, I could deal with it at a longer length, but since most of it is teeny tiny 4c coils, it's a nightmare to detangle when it gets past 8 inches.

  • @Nerika23 I am glad to find someone who wore locs for a while & is trying to learn how to function again with hair that is no longer in locs. I wore mine for 6 yrs & took them out in Aug this year. They were just past my waistline. I am certainly lookingh forward to this new journey
