@Boobie1000 And the lyrical changes change the fundamental meaning of the song. "Punctured bicycle", "this man said it's GRUESOME...". That's poetry. Yeah, Death Cab adapted the song for a new generation: a generation of simpletons who can name all the Kardashians, but struggle to read at a fucking 5TH grade level at 14 like my students do.
And I LOVE Death Cab and its lead singer, so don't even start talkin all that mess.
