DVC Rocks LA!

The Democracy Video Challenge asks filmmakers around the world to create 3 minute videos that finish the phrase, "Democracy Is...." In 2009, over 900 videos were submitted! The 6 winners received an all expense paid trip to NYC, DC and LA. This short video captures the energy, fun and purpose of the LA leg of their tour.

Democracy is Mob rule, which means the majority can override the rights of the minority. The United States was formed as a Constitutional Republic which protects individual liberty. Its minority rule. Individual liberty is Freedom. Too bad the actual form of government we have is tyranny. This propaganda is a good example of that.

"Senate," "Justice," "Liberty" these describe the Pagan Greek and Roman concepts, all of these, philosophy, are Pagan to the, core . The concept of Democracy came from the Pagan Greeks . Nowhere in the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. Constitution does it mention ,Democracy. Throughout history, America has never been a true Democracy, decisions always lay and made , in the hand of a few , rich people, which is known as an "oligarchy"

Is this the State department that supported contras, Islamic fundamentalism, and many dictators across the world? Not that they something inherently wrong with as one in the best interest of our country( well Islamic terrorism really bite us back in the end). But this State Department let stand up for democracy is completely ironic propaganda. Look at the exams you take to for a job, they asks you to go against your morals and believes on freedom if a another country undermines are interest

Jesus was crucified in a democratic procedure. People decided to free a bandit Barabbas instead of him. This tells you a lot about the quality of democracy and opinion of the masses.

The word Democracy comes from two Greek words. Demos - meaning people and Kratein - meaning to rule, and means the rule of the people or majority rule.

In a democracy the mob rules by a direct vote,so if a dictator arises in California and every Californian votes for him, there u go, new president. With this mob rule eventually the poor and middle class will rule and get payback to the rich and vote themselves money, benefits, etc. A pure democracy is the exact opposite of an oligarchy.

Don't get me wrong a constittional republic can fail....We are watching it happen now, unless more voters rise up and the states exercise their true power
