Do Bands Play Different Songs Every Time They Are Live?

@letruthspeaker perform their different songs yes, but if you followed them round on tour you fine that they are performing the same songs every night.

and if they have a TV appearance then chances are they may play a selection of songs from their tour.

add that to the fact that stand up is INCREDIBLY hard to write

@letruthspeaker It's called a routine. He used this routine (with variations) in each performance on this tour, and he'll use a completely different and new routine in his next tour. And I hear that his new Going Out tour is all new material. It takes time to write an hour long routine; of course he's not going to have a different one each night. He also said once that it would be arrogant of him to assume that everyone in the audience has already seen his stuff. I totally see what he means

@ovavoo - Ooooh but they're supposed to!! They're a music act. They're job is to go on stage and perform their different songs. Lee Mack is a comedian who is employed to make people laugh. How can telling the same jokes over and over again be funny? Granted, the first time they will be funny, but after the second, third and fourth times your gunna be falling asleep man!!... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
