With Yuan Shao vanquished, we should head to Jing Zhou. The local warlords are competing for control of the area. You will hear about Zhuge Liang, but won't be able to recruit him yet.
In the second castle you will obtain two very good generals. Huang Zhong in particular is another of the tigers. Check around for some free swords and a bow (I forgot about the bow when recording; it's in the first castle you take).
