The Engineering Capacity Building Program (ecbp) is Building Ethiopia through a series of reforms, ultimately aiming to improve the competitiveness of companies that have the potential to export more value added goods and hire more people. Through its reform of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system, ecbp is ensuring that the demands of the private sector are met with qualified and practically trained workers. The new TVET system is outcome-based and demand driven as well as relying in Occupational Standards and Assessments which ensure proper qualifications in any field are met.
