@vienteflora There is nothing wrong with the architecture of this royal knocking shop, only the extravagance of the reason for it's constuction is in question.

From what I saw from my last visit to Brighton, there ain't any shortage of needy buggers there these days, of one type or the other.
This fat Royal bastard, who's main occupation is stuffing his face, whilst the rank and file of ordinary people down the road are starving to death, decides to spend shit loads of money on a bloody palace, called the "Pavillion" to house his floozy ,who he happens to be shagging at that particular time, and indulge in even more Gluttony.
Xanadu was a favorite childhood movie of mine...Love ELO music and the 70's L.A. magic thingy. This place is amazing! Reminds me of Great Salt Lake Pavillion in Utah.
