They are some of the best. I have probably flown on that very plane in the past. Most, if not all of our pilots are former USAF, USMC, or USN. According to the NTSB it was probably wind shear. I don't think anyone will ever know unless we can hear the cockpit recording, if it was even on.

All I know is that my friend in Tokyo has still not received the care package I sent him. I'm never using FedEx again if this is how their air freight is done.

Amazing, horrible crash... and worse the comments. As a professional pilot it is very disappointing. If there were 300 people on that airplane instead of 100T of freight the world would of known about it much earlier... and people would of cared.
