@tony685 You are absolutely correct! I'm sitting here listening to these songs and thinking of my mother. She loved Ricky Van Shelton. Don't forget Earl Thomas Conley too. What great voices they all had. I still love country music but these were truly the best years.

This guy is what got me into country in the early '90's at the age of ten. When he remired it put an end to great music.

I miss his singing :( We need more of the good ol' country :) I'm not even 30 yet but love all the good oldies. I remember sitting on the step in elementary school on free friday and listening to Ricky on a cassette tape with a portable cass. player with batterys lol... Good ol days:) What can I say my momma raised me right...
