Turbo's boots are not rocket boots, they do not emit thrust. They emit an invisible force field that gives Turbo firm footing even in mid air.

By pressing a button inside the boots with his toe, Turbo activates the field. By releasing the button, he releases the field.

The boots protect the surrounding environment from being damaged from Turbo. without them, the force of Turbo's jump would cause massive damage to even the most sturdiest of structures.

The boots are powered by a small piece of raw gloport, but they them self are not made out of gloport, so they are not indestructible like turbo.

The software is pretty expensive and learning such a complex thing isn't easy but it is fun and worth the while.
