  • Hypnobirthing teaches you to relax, not hypnotized so that should be perfect for what you are needing.

  • I've heard some people that used it refer to their 'relaxed state' as hypnotized. That's why I used that word.

  • Oh ok...A lot of people see hypno in the word and assume they will be in a trance...I've never done it but have just been reading about it. =) It seems pretty neat!

  • Yeah I'm hoping it will help me in what I want to accomplish. We'll see!!

  • Love Kaylee, she so cute...

  • Thanks! She cracks me up.

  • Haha i love when you said "Daddy's at work homegirl."

  • I also am interested in a natural birth. I'm thinking a water birth.

When I told my husband he was TOTALLY against it, but after I did some studing up on it ( haha, I read a few books) he seemed to become really interested and now he is more excited than I am about it.

Beware! Your friends and family might be negative about it. My family is against our decision, but oh well, it's for the best for the baby and you, not them.

Congrats and good luck to you and your BEAUTIFUL family!

  • I'm only at about 4 minutes through your video but wanted to comment on the pushing... I went all natural with a midwife at a birth center, and I pushed for 4 hours even though I could feel it all... it's amazing though.

  • You talk alot. Kaylee pwns ur blog. 4:40 to 5:20 = ROFL. Tell Kyle good luck.

  • It isn't like you are in a trance or something. I am planning on listening to my IPOD with the woman's voice keeping me calm and focused....and I really think it is going to help so much. I am a Registered Nurse and have my reasons for not wanting medications and an epidural and really think natural is best. I will be having my baby in a hospital and am open to whatever it takes to deliver my baby safely though :) I look forward to bringing you a good report soon :)

  • Hi there :) I am 41 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have been doing the hypnobabies home study course and it has been really great at keeping me calm, relaxed and positive during my pregnancy...really relaxed :) I should be having this baby any day now...so I will get back on here and let you know how it went :)

  • Your little girl is talking really good for her age! What is your secret? What did you do to try getting her to talk so well?

  • your daughter is so cute
