it doesnt work on windshields because its laminated safety glass. which means theres layers of plastic sandwiched between the glass to prevent shattering. but it works on side and rear windows which are tempered glass. im a firefighter and we just got porcelin coated tools for breaking glass. believe it or not windows dont always break on the first hit with steel tools esp tempered glass. but the porcelin tools break it every time on the first try.
