@dymchurch1 Lol. Got me there. Well I guess it can't be helped. I think I'm going to Google this topic. I want to know how this love of cuteness and young girls began and if it is innocent love as you say. My friends and I still think many Japanese men in these types of audiences are perverted, no offense, even if it's undercover. Still, I want to keep as open a mind as possible. :]

@dymchurch1 I didn't say the girls dressed sexy. Look at line 3 of my comment again. From your profile picture I understand that you may be around these mens's age and also enjoy girl groups so you probably felt you had to defend some of the men. I'm still not convinced that most of the guys there are thinking innocently 100% but I guess that's just the way I think. After all, from where I live in the U.S, all these men watching minors at a concert would be viewed negatively.

@neldabg But how do you know which is which? And it's a whole different culture in Japan. They love kawaii. They put cute characters on cop cars for cryin' out loud. These girls dress more cute than sexy. You know that. Why not give the benefit of the doubt that MOST men are there for more innocent reasons? If you do that then calling it sick goes out the window. I'll readily cop to childish.

@neldabg Do differences in male/female anatomy play a role? Yes but not the way you think. After all, the same dynamics are in play when a man dotes on his daughter as his "little princess". Is that sick? Have you never read Freud? Furthermore, "the virgin" is an ancient archetype. It is found in the zodiac (Virgo) and the Bible (Mary). You've never read Joseph Campbell either.
