The ninth dungeon of Pikmin 2: Subterranean Complex. ( Part 5 )

Weve got 10000 Pokos, so this time we have the president as playable character instead of Louie! Also the hull of our ship is made out of gold now. This dungeon is ( except the first part ) a metal base. I hate metal bases, but this one is even worst. It went smooth, but still.. Most enemies have the skill to throw your Pikmin ever the edge of the dungeon was Ofcourse leads in death. So the conclusion is: ( again ) Use purple Pikmin to stun them. The boss was really annoying, but I was able to weaken it when it was still sleeping.. this time..

Boss: Man-at-Legs.
Boss note: Man. The first time I played Pikmin, I thought it was a stupid little orb. Nothing of this was true Ofcourse. The man-at-legs is for sure one of the hardest bosses, the first time I lost just as many Pikmin here as with the Titan-Dweevil. It has a machine like gun that shoots FAST! But your Pikmin run faster. I first threw a lot of purple Pikmin before it stepped up, and than used yellows because they fly higher.
Olimars journal: This species of the arachnorb family fuses with machinery at a crucial point in the maturation process, giving it the ability to fire energy burst from the launcher beneath its spherical torso. However, the Man-At-Legs itself is not in control of this weapon. Instead, the mechanical portions of its structure appear to automatically acquire and attack targets. The Man-At-Legs has a gentle disposition, and as a member of the arachnorb family, it has no natural enemies. It is particularly difficult to understand why this species would develop such awesome offensive capabilities, leading to rumors in the scientific community that it was the machinery that approached the arachnorb and proposed the symbiotic relationship.
Note: I entered with 90 Pikmin because I know there was a queen Candypop flower in here. It seemed to be two flowers.. oh well. I ended with a hundred Pikmin so I cant be unhappy. There were A LOT purple and white candypop flowers, so in the end I lost all of my red Pikmin to em. Although this dungeon wasnt fun, the loots were awesome.

    Kinda. It does make things less depressing at least.

  • anyone know what all the pikmin have with their abilitys like i know red are fire resistant blue can go in water nd idk what yellow and all the others are

    Red = Fire resistant and have higher attack power.

    Yellow = Can be thrown higher and are resistant against electricity (note: they could also carry bombs in Pikmin 1 ).

    blue= have gills so won't drow in water and have a tad more health.

    Purple = create small earthquakes when they land so they stun enemies, have the strenght of 10 normal Pikmin, more health and are slower.

    White = Very fast, can sense things underground, poison resistant and venomous.

    Hope this will do. ;)

  • They made this game TOO easy. mainly because of sprays and the purple pikmin. How disappointing.

  • This boss cant be sprayed I'm afraid, but yes, I have to admit its a bit easy sometimes. I hope ( if it comes ) Pikmin 3 will be more chalanging. Still, the game was cool. :)

  • @SuperNoobking there is none only if you trow in pikmin in the candypops that change color other than that u gotta farm
