Ron Gochez of the Southern California Immigration Coalition (SCIC) denounces police impounding of cars of undocumented immigrants, comparing the policy to a Mafia-style business. Last year California raked in $40 million largely at the expense of poor, working class, undocumented immigrants who cannot get driver's licenses. New proposed legislation (AB 353) sponsored by Gil Cedillo promises to change that. Balbino Aviles reports.

Look the bottom line is this myth about the undocumented soaking up the resources is a myth. First and foremost because you actual verification to receive aid of ANY kind (and believe me average payout for housing assistance, food stamps, etc is around 300 bucks a year) to receive aid.
