Yes I used a firebird commander wing with five inches cut off for speed flying, then glued the two halfs together and inserted a thin carbon rod..makes the wing unfoldable. Never had to touch the tail or fuselage but you could easily beef the tail up I don't think the fuselage needs it, had some heavy landings but never really damaged it. Great tough little plane.
Great flying Dave - particularly impressed by the low level stuff! I've got an Electrasport too, that I've been flying as it came out of the box. I had a crash recently, the wing folded, as I was pulling out of a spiral dive. The plane fell about 200 feet, totally smashed the motor, and tore off the tailplane. I'm going to fix it all up again, but was wondering whether you'd done any work to strengthen the airframe or wings, especially given the additional power of your new motor? Cheers.
