apparently not, apple's sales are doing incredibly good, especially in today's financial crisis, they are barely even affected by it, they are gaining profit rather than losing it.... microsoft however, is taking hits

they look great but they run like a piece of shit. They are the worst computer ever sold in market. Mac should stick with there ipods

We have hundreds of Vista licenses and we run XP instead. Microsoft still counts those Vista licenses when it reports how many people run Vista. No that's how many people own Vista because they had no choice. The majority are still running XP, even though they own a license for Vista) That does not happen in the Mac world.

no , i can ALWAYS find a PC cheaper than a mac for a much higher spec , i can get a sony laptop with a 1gb dedicated nvidia GPU , 14inch screen , 250gb hdd , blu ray drive and 4gb of ddr3 ram , thats £40 cheaper ! than a macbook with a 13 inch screen , 2gb ram , 130gb hdd and a 9400m GPU , PC always cheaper , sony r overpriced and even they r cheaper

The fact that corporate America flat out refused to update to Vista is evidence enough that Windows sucks. We are all waiting for Windows 7 and hoping it is not as bad as Vista, because XP is VERY long in the tooth. You can buy a new Dell, with Windows 7 and they are kind enough to send it to you with Windows XP installed. That is because the corporate community DEMANDED it!!

#1: You don't get the same hardware on a PC as you do on a Mac for the same price. #2 You can't lump a PC running Windows and a PC running Linux together. That is an insult to Linux and I will NOT have it!! #3 Macs don't come with low specs, old network cards and outdated memory architecture. Get a PC that has the same specs and same quality hardware and your price is going to up to to above the Mac. But then you are still stuck with Windows.

WHAT? come on dude.... seriously? macs are clearly by a LONG shot better for multi-media! even most PC users agree, i mean come on.... windows movie maker or imovie? sony vegas or final cut pro? and countless other media apps that mac is waayyyy better in, like windows media player or itunes... i mean seriously?

aND ITUNes is a joke !!! everyone hates itunes unless ya a steve jobs rent boy
