I wish I could talk soup.Life would be so much simpler

@l2d8 Al has skills man, unlike many other parody artists, the music and lyrics he writes and the band members he assembles work great
-
The talk shows he mentions are dated, but the rest of it is pure awesome.
-
@vladpiranha I think he still has a lot of good ideas, and the Lady Gaga parody is hilarious!
-
cant believe i had this cd but it ended up in a good place (the microwave) lol
-
@DriftingFWWA A lyrics site says "I sold my kids for cheese".
-
This is why his prime was in the 90s. His best ideas were in that period. It's just too hard to create a follow up to stuff like this.
-
awesome but i can't find a video with the lyrics weird right
-
haha, THis is a goood song

This is a masterpiece. Weird Al is at his best when he, a) fits ridiculous statements to grandiose or self-indulgent styles of music, and b) becomes not just a parodist but a satirist by spoofing the most materialistic, arrogant, and puerile tendencies of American society. He does both here, in such a funny way that the very targets of his satire often laugh right along, and that is the mark of a comic genius. 'Nuff said.

I love this song- always have. Weird Al is a genius.
