Really? An academic in a skirt that short in a non-recreational context; I imagine the producers debated between that or something low-cut, and they were unkind using her for eye candy, which requirement she could satisfy from the neck up in something sensible.

She was ok I guess. I never thought she was anything other than just cute. Even in Chain Reaction and Mummy was just just cute. And then for whatever reasons she did Confidence with Dustin Hoffman and Ed Burns and she transformed into this stunning woman. I have no idea what she did but blossomed quite nicely. You could already see how hotter she was In Mummy Returns compared to Mummy.

Would she be the hollywood star that she is now if she hadn't played in that film ? Maybe she would but if she hadn't played that role would her list of films sort of look the same since every project opens different doors to another.. anyone ?
