Yeah I run in the Front Wheel Drive class in Indianola. I love oval racing. I guess it takes a certain type of person to do the crossing I guess... there are 3 of us planing on making it up to Adel from Norwalk... We built our cars to run the 8 its gonna be way a lot faster than what it was last year. with them making it bigger..

Figure 8 racing has become a fairly large sport here in Iowa. It started out the same way it is where you are tho. The tracks keep gettin bigger and cars getting faster. This video is from 2008, it was a heat race in the stock class. This track was made larger in the fall and should be finished in the spring. If you like dirt track figure 8 racing I think that Iowa is where it is at right now.

From the way I understand they are tring to bring hobby stockstocks dont know how true it is... Are you racing in Indianola this year or staying in Adel

My favorite track is Adel, I have been racing Indianola for the last two years and plan to this year also. I don't have as much video from Indianola cause my wife does not like that track as much and she does all the tapes. You are correct about Adel trying to bring in IMCA racing this season since they made the track bigger. So far the only event on the schedule besides Figure 8 racing is Cruisers and Mini Sprints.
