Smashing performance Sweden's best male capella group great stereo sound unusual bridge. Do yourself a favor and use a good set of headphones for this. The group started out 1984 and is still active based in Uppsala Sweden. Blackbird was written by Paul McCartney of the Beatles included on the White album. Arr. by Gunnar Misgeld. The group name is sometimes spelled as one word sometimes as two.

I first saw these guys in a small midnite show in an old wooden cinema at Skinnskatteberg choir festival in 1990? and they completely blew me away.
Next year they were back and at the end of the show there was a total power failure with total darkness and no sound system. That didnt bother them at all, they just carried on with Blackbird as the closing number in complete darkness. The audience laughed & applauded in delight that the show wasnt over. It just changed into a more intimate thing where you had to stretch your ears a bit. Thank you guys for spreading such joy and being such solid live performers!

  • I don't know what BrandonHell is on about further down these comments. I can't hear any flatness. They start in F sharp and that's pretty much exactly where they finish; if someone were consistently singing under the note, the group could never have held pitch through the key-change section. Besides, with a group this good, if someone couldn't reliably keep pitch, they'd have been asked to leave.

  • @leoleoleo7859 I can't hear any flatness either, and I doubt there is any. If it had been, it would have been spotted during the recording process, either by the producer or by the others in the band. The recording process always includes a lot of check-ups and re-listening. And if any one have objections they redo it. Can fathom a situation where all 5 of them fail to recognise repeated flatness.

  • @leoleoleo7859 they're less than ten cents flat...i could only pick it up cause i have near perfect pitch. i had to test it a keyboard F#. its also only the lowest note during the chorus. no one cares though

  • @lpereles ok, thanks for enlightening us about this seeming mystery, hope that this is now settled once and for all! :-)

  • holy! i need this record, pleaseeeee!!!

  • @lasdevilladiego please see the description for buy-links, tho I warn ya, the rest of the cd is not on par with this.

  • c'est beau, c'est magnifique, c'est ...........

  • @JackBeNimble96 typically you're born with it. I was. you can achieve something called "relative pitch" which comes from playing an instrument for a number of years.

  • I fucking love Sweeden

  • @leoleoleo7859 i honestly dont know much about notes and that but i think he tryed to accompany this with guitar because it sounds weird when you do
