  • So this is what your marque is to. As stated below: nice work btw.

Dare I say it? Convert to freeviewed stereography!

    Say "Hi!" to Poland! Art

  • I'll prepare a 3d version and upload when I get home if I think it works well enough :)

  • And accordions are just as complicated :)

    Nice work btw ;)

  • Yes they are but they're made in much greater numbers and are popular world wide so that helps to bring the production costs down. I guess the number of good new concertinas made each year is down in the hunderds, if that ... and they're made mostly by hand. Regards Martyn

  • Number 12 it is! Thanks for the supportive comments ... glad you're finding the videos helpful. I'm no great shakes player ... but that's partly because it's a rare instrument and there are very few teachers/players to learn from ... so I'm hoping YouTube will come to the rescue! Come on all you better players ... make a lesson or two! Thanks for the web link ... I'll have a look now :) Regards Martyn

  • Thanks. That was interesting.

  • Thanks for the tour inside the box! Understanding how a device works helps us care for it and get the most out of it.

  • Martyn you kepp stating you are no great shakes as a player..very modest. What you are is a natural and very good teacher, in my experience great players are not very good at passing on knowledge as they have a natural tendency to try and impress all the time they cant help it, this may be a tad unfair

  • You're right. Conversion may not even suit the purpose of this video.

    Nice series incidentally.

  • I would number this video #12. It is kind of technical and might put off someone just starting out. Now that I've watched 1-11b, this video was extremely helpful and interesting. I still don't have a concertina (maybe they are harder to find in Chicago!) but found a website that has a virtual concertina. (for all who want to see it: Google "virtual English Wheatstone concertina") Martyn, you have created a terrific series. More, please!
