This video shows you how to convert iTunes 'Locked' MPEG4 formatted songs to MPEG3 format, This will Require a CD

This is a very easy-to-hear and very-clear tutorial, I'm talking unlike showing you arrows and boxes, I show you personally how to convert the music, I'm not saying mines better, I'm saying it's easier to understand, my first two comments (
Nihsel101 & Matthewblanchard1, check them out) said so...☺

There may be many better ways to do this, but this is the easiest...and might not require any downloading

I thought of this myself, I DID NOT WATCH ANY OTHER VIDEOS AND COPY THEM, but anyone has the right to make a help video using the same technique, I do not mind at all...

ALSO! - I'm not sure if you really need the newest iTunes, but most likely will need the newest Windows Media Player

First two comments! Check them out! ☺

  • I already knew how to do this, but you're vid made it much more easy. as for MobuisX his way is very easy too maybe easier, but you shouldn't trash talk and demean someone else's idea. he made this video to help others not get popularity, and he's definatly right about protected files.

  • @pole52

    Thank you for that. lol

  • how do you do it the other way around i want to convert mp3 to mp4

  • @MyToonCodes

Change the import settings in Edit>Preferences.

  • "burn to cd" what a retard, that shit lowers audio quality, only a dumbass would do it this way, all you have to do is click edit, preferences, under general click import settings, change top to mp3 encoder, change bottom to higher quality 192kbps, on itunes find the song and right click on it, make a mp3 version of it, make sure its in the itunes folder, or it will say cannot find file, that means you moved the mp3 songs, so put it back to my music, itunes music, this guy is a dumbass

  • @MobiusX

Hmm... 192kbps in mp3? The original download is 256kbps aac. You lowered the quality over half already that way. And what about locked music? Some old iTunes downloads are actually locked and can't be converted by iTunes converter. But if you're helping someone else I guess that's fine.

  • I just use the program Audacity to open the mp4 file and then export it as an mp3. Audacity is free to download online. I find the quality to be pretty decent.

  • waste of time

  • Gaaa! i cant get that smudge off the screen!! (0:50 to forever)

  • @MobiusX The human ear cannot tell the difference with anything over 128kbps anyway.

  • You can change it to higher quality than 192, that was just a suggestion. It wasn't helping "someone" else it was helping EVERYONE

  • @MobiusX

this indeed works and is easy peasy. you should make a youtube vid of it. it totally helped me, nice one

  • thank you! this was pissing me off

  • @tonkatheturtle xbox is mp4 compatible
