i seriously hate how all the wannabe critics out there talk about TLOK like its "over" or something. they compare the 12 episodes of TLOK to the 61 episodes of ATLA and talk about the "lack of characterization" and "lackluster ending," ignoring the fact that the writers thought they would ONLY be making 12 episodes. thats not fair at all! there are still 40 more episodes to go in TLOK! how about you compare the first season of TLOK to the first season of ATLA. thats a much more fiar comparison.

I haven't seen this season yet, but to even compare to the other one it would have to be absolutely amazing. Though it makes me sad to think all the characters I loved from the first season have passed now.

thats because ATLA had many more filler episodes. remember, the writers thought they had to squeeze all the epicness of the first series into only 12 episodes; but now with so much more room to play around with we will see much more character development, etc.

and yes, Momo and Appa are adorable...but i still like Pabu :D

scuse me mr.12-year-old wannabe criticizer of the critics, u do know even comparing only one season to another, korra's ass still gets kicked by the charater development, depths of the block, suspence, philosiphy and suiting for all ages. PLus the fact that momo and appa were super cute. lol, just sayin...

She just a normal girl just like every other girl. The avatar spirit reincarnated into her at birth. there's is a very good reason why the avatar spirit chose her after aang died.

No,Korra's not the daughter of Aang and Katara,I've seen the anime you should watch it,But still Tenzin is Katara and Aang's son which is the tutor of Korra in airbending,Korra isn't related to Aang in anything except spiritually because she's the avatar,She's an outsider from the water tribe,And was found when the three guys from the fire nation or something were looking for the avatar.I hope this helped,Hmm.
