I am 26 and the man I love is 50. His oldest daughter is my age. He thinks this is wrong on so many different levels but he just doesn't know how to let me go.....and I don't want to be without him. He says that if we have a child he would hate for me to raise him on my own bcuz he'll be too old or even dead. He knows he can't offer me the things a man my age could and that's the main issue with us. He cares too much to stay and not be able to offer me much but he cares too much to let go.

I have done both and you just can't win either way! married someone 17 years older when that broke up after 14 hard years dated someone 17 years younger who I truly loved - my kids wouldn't accept it so I ended up marrying a man of same age and had baby he then left me on her first day of school!! It's all well and good saying it don't matter but trust me it really does in the long run!
