So tiresome that the comment thread is full of 'Buddy is Best' comments. Frankly, the youtubers who go around Krupa & Bellson videos typing these comments are no better than those who keep posting up "Travis Barker would blow him off the stage!" comments. They just have an older super-hero.
I'm not criticising Buddy, he was great, but some of his 'Buddy will always be the greatest' brigade are just so ***ing annoying! :-(
This is a Louis Bellson video - let's here it for Louis!

He was limitless behind the kit the world truly lost a gentleman and an Unmatched unique approach to drumming even in his later yrs he was amazing RIP KING LOUIE Buddy Rich and Krupa knew There match with You as a force and inspiration to even them

@danzbmw I agree. I always considered LB the most technical drummer. His technique was efortless and his "touch" was so musical...

Very true... Its because they jazz boys have been taught properly and have been shown the correct techniques in order to do so! When I turned up at my first lesson with my teacher 2 years ago (this is after 10 years of playing and a BA hons degree in the subject) he said to me "Its like you're banging dustbin lids"... Now its a different story! :D
