I remember the Beatles-movie "A Hard Day's Night" from 1964. There was a scene in a canteen between a reading Ringo Starr and Wilfried Campbell, where he suggest Ringo to go out instead of reading. Ringo said: "Books are good. You can learn from books". And which book he was reading? "Anatomy of a Murder" by Robert Traver.
It's interesting, Duke Ellington was starring in this movie.

0:44-0:45 the duke ellington band in the courtroom seems like a silly idea for this trailer if you ask me.

Judy Garland should have won an Oscar for this- one of her best performances.

This was one of the first movies that George C. Scott was in, the trailer is a little crass but the movie is a true classic.
