Ericsson was just defending himself... the hog tried to go after him so Ericsson took him down first... he wasn't injured until ericsson took him out :)

Actually, Ryan tried to be the third man in. So I do understand Ericsson jumping in.
But he clearly looked injured and out of it. No need to pound him like that, especially once he got him to the ice.
